Type locality: Malaysia, Borneo, Sarawak

= Polythlipta caradrinalis Snellen, 1892: 162, pl. 10 fig. 7

Type locality: Buitenzorg [Bogor, Indonesia, W Java]

Distribution. Indian records: Assam, Andamanen (Klima 1939), Khasi (Meghalaya) (Gupta 1994), Arunachal Pradesh (Reddy & Murthy 2021). Global records: Borneo, Amboina (Hampson 1896b), Sumatra (Caradja 1925).
