Description
969. Patania aegrotalis (Zeller, 1852: 38) (Botys)
Type locality: Caffrorum terra [South Africa], Gariep [Orange] River, Limpopo River
Distribution. Indian records: Nilgiris (Hampson 1896b), Calcutta (Sevastopulo 1938), Indore (Chandra et al. 2010), throughout India, except North West (Joshi et al. 2021). Global records: Central Sumatra: Boea (Snellen 1880b), W. and S. Africa, Ceylon, Java (Hampson 1896b), Panama (Dyar 1914a), W. & S. Africa, Ceylon, Java, Japan, Kiushiu (Caradja 1925).
