Distribution. Indian records: Mhow (Hampson 1896b), Indien (Klima 1939), Andaman (Gupta 1994), Kottayam, Piravom (Mathew 2004), Andaman and Nicobar Islands (Ritchie’s Archipelago) (Sivaperuman 2014), Kerala, Tamil Nadu (Das et al. 2020a). Global records: Ceylon, Borneo, Sumbawa (Hampson 1896b), Seychelles, Sri Lanka, W. Malaysia, Sabah, lowland (Robinson et al. 1994), Sri Lanka, Southern China, Taiwan, Tonkin, Singapore, Philippines, Borneo, Sambawa, Papua (Mandal & Bhattacharya 1980), USA (Hayden & Troubridge 2015).
