Type locality: Congo Belge [Democratic Republic of the Congo], Lulua, Kapanga

Distribution. Indian records: Bombay (Swinhoe 1885), Nagas (Hampson 1896b), Calcutta (West Bengal), Bombay (Maharashtra), Sikkim, Nicobar Island, Assam (Gupta 1994), West Bengal, Tripura (Reddy & Murthy 2021).
