Type locality: Malaysia, Sarawak
= Metasia zanclogramma Meyrick, 1894a: 8
Type locality: Burma [Myanmar], Shan State, Koni
Distribution. Indian records: Kulu, Khasis, Nilgiris (Caradja 1925), North India (Rose & Dhillon 1980c), Kulu, Solan, Chambaghat (HP), Assam, Nilgiri (Tamil Nadu) (Gupta 1994), Kohima, Ghaspani, Imphal (Kirti & Sodhi 2001). Global records: Ceylon, Shan States, Borneo (Hampson 1896b), Japan, Ceylon, Shan States, Borneo, China (Caradja 1925), Taiwan: Vietnam (de Joannis 1930).
