Distribution. Indian records: Nagas (Hampson 1896b), Kulu, Khasis, Nilgiris (Caradja 1925), North India (Rose & Dhillon 1980c), Dharmsala, Kulu, Solan, Nilgiri (Tamil Nadu), Assam (Gupta 1994), North Cachar Hills, Jatinga, Haflong (Kirti & Sodhi 2001), Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu (Das et al. 2020a), Uttarakhand (Pathania et al. 2021b). Global records: Japan, Ceylon (Hampson 1896b), Japan, Ceylon, Shan States, Borneo, China (Caradja 1925), Vietnam (Tonkin) (de Joannis 1930), Taiwan (Yamanaka 1972), Japan (Inoue 1982), Nepal (Yamanaka 1998), Korea (Bae et al. 2008), Hong Kong, Malaysia (Chandra et al. 2019).
