Type locality: Indonesia, Borneo, Samarinda; [Sulawesi] Celebes, Minahassa

Distribution. Indian records: Calcutta (Sevastopulo 1935), Dharmsala (Hampson 1896b), Kerala (Mathew & Menon 1984), Tamil Nadu (Das et al. 2020a). Global records: West Africa, Ceylon, Borneo, Flores, Fiji (Hampson 1896b), Vietnam (Tonkin) (de Joannis 1930), Dem. Rep. Congo (Ghesquière 1942), Réunion (Viette & Guillermet 1996), Borneo, Fiji, Flores, Samoa, Salomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Sumatra, South China, Vietnam (Tong-King), West Africa (Bhattacharya 1997), Tutuila (Am. Samoa), Upolu, Savai’i (Samoa) (Kami & Miller 1998), Indonesia, Malaysia (Pathania et al. 2021b).
