Type locality: Malaysia, Borneo, Sarawak

Distribution. Indian records: Sikkim, Khasis (Hampson 1896b), Arunachal Pradesh (Chandra et al. 2019), Assam, Meghalaya (Joshi et al. 2021). Global records: Borneo (Hampson 1896b), W. Malaysia, Sumatra, Brunei, Sabah, Sarawak, Kalimantan, Philippines, Sulawesi (Robinson et al. 1994).
