Type locality: Himalayas

Distribution. Indian records: Himalayas (Zeller 1863), Dharmsala, Nilgiris (Hampson 1896b), Central Himalaya (Sanyal et al. 2018), Punjab (Singh et al. 2019d), Sikkim (Pathania et al. 2021b). Global records: Meean Meer, Punjab [Pakistan] (Hampson 1896b), Ceylon, Borneo, Philippines (Bleszynski 1961a).
