Type locality: Himalaya, Massuri [India, Uttarakhand, Mussourie]
Distribution. Indian records: Massuri [India, Uttarakhand, Mussourie] (Kollar & Redtenbacher 1844), Simla (Hampson 1896b), North India, Darjeeling, Shimla, Kashmir Himalaya, Kasauli, Subathu (Bleszynski 1970b). Global records: Ceylon (Hampson 1896b), China (Wang & Sung 1981, Hua 2005).
