Abstract:
An efficient and environmentally friendly method for the synthesis of N,2,6-tris(4-chlorophenyl)-4-oxopiperidine-3-carboxamide. The compound has been derived by the condensation of 4-chloroacetoacetanilide and 4-chlorobenzaldehyde using ammonium formate. The structure of the synthesized compound was elucidated by spectral studies such as IR, 1 H, 13C-NMR, Elemental analysis, DFT calculations and Molecular docking studies.
