Measurements: (6 specimens measured) Average total length: 9.9mm, range: 8.8–11.5mm, average elytral length: 7.1mm, average elytral width: 2.8mm, average pronotal length: 1.9mm, average pronotal width: 1.8mm, average head width: 1.8mm.

Head: Red-brown, cranium vested with short and long yellowish setae, with distinct punctation, interstices smaller one diameter of punctures, wrinkled ventrally; posterior part of clypeus red-brown, relatively small, with large punctation and a few long setae laterally, smooth centrally; ventral part wrinkled, smooth centrally; antennae red-brown, A4 longer than A3, antennomeres gradually decreasing in length from A4 towards A8, A9 to A11 forming a distinct club, acute, male antennae slightly reaching beyond base of pronotum when laid back; gular sutures parallel, gular process broad.

Thorax: Average pronotal length:width ratio 1.0:1; pronotum red-brown, vested with yellowish setae, interstices on pronotal arch about one diameter of punctures, diameter of punctures on pronotum proper larger than on pronotal arch, interstices smaller diameter of punctures; transverse sulcus on anterior part of mesosternum and mesepisternum indistinct; prosternum red-brown, smooth; mesosternum red-brown, margins darkened, vested with yellowish setae, surface only slightly wrinkled; metasternum slightly darker, vested with fine setae, with fine and very sparsepunctation; anterior metasternal process with two strongly sclerotized, ventrally projecting, edges; scutellum round, red-brown.

Elytra: Average length:width ratio 2.6:1; elytra uniformly red-brown, subcutaneous structures visible, vested with short erect setae, punctation relatively small, all striae more or less distinctly visible all over the elytra, interstices between and within striae smaller than one diameter of punctures, punctation never rasplike, carination absent.

Legs: Red-brown, tarsal pulvilli yellowish-pale; metatibiae more or less straight, no tibial carination.

Abdomen: Ventrites darker red-brown, with distinct but sparse punctation, interstices three to four diameter of punctures; male pygidium subquadrate, arms short; male ventrite 6 indistinctly emarginate. Male genitalia (Fig. 48): Phallobasis and phallobasic apodeme broad; phallic plates broadened apically; spicular fork dividing into two branches after one third of length.
