Holotype female. Label data (6): " Holotype ♀, H. rigatiella "; "Musée du Congo, Eala, vi.1936, J. Ghesquière "; " Hilarographa, rigatiella, Ghes. 1940, Type"; " Hilarographa, rigatiella, sp. n., Type"; " R. Dét., R, 4413"; " MRAC / KMMA 00436 "; specimen ID: RMCA ENT 000004967 (Fig. 20).
Paratype (Allotype) "male" [recte female]. Label data (3): " Allotype ♂, H. rigatiella "; "Musée du Congo, Eala, vii.1937, J. Ghesquière "; " R. Dét., S, 4413"; specimen ID: RMCA ENT 000004968.
Female genitalia (Fig. 99). Apophyses short; cup-shaped part of sterigma well sclerotized, tapered proximad; bursa copulatrix without sclerites.
Remarks. Described from the two specimens mentioned above. However, the " Allotype " is a female. The type depository is incorrectly indicated as the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle, Paris in Brown (2005: 393).
