Hiding Illusion-Mediated Innate Analgesia
Authors/Creators
Description
We describe a series of cognitive mapping mitigations to enable an individual to retain use of a pair of illusions jointly providing self-controllable broad and selective-area innate analgesia while avoiding unwanted observation. The case successfully resolves with the individual subsequently able to effect equivalent in-brain pain control by intermediately minimally manipulating a variety of body image media symbolically, and finally, covertly by effortful mental rehearsal only.
