Description
RGB imaging collected in healthy and bacterial-inoculated Tobacco leaves
Tobacco plants were inoculated by infiltration using blunt-ended syringes, in the 4th, 5th, and 6th leaves, following the following arrangement: 3 plants were used as control plants (inoculated with purified water only); and, 3 plants were inoculated with a suspension of Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato DC 3000 in purified water at 10^8 CFU ml^−1;
RGB image acquisition was made using a set-up including an RGB camera (Panasonic Lumix DC-FZ82) in combination with different light sources including individual Red, Green, Blue, and White LEDs, a UV LED floodlight, and an RGBW LED floodlight. The setup allowed the simultaneous imaging of the 6 plants (3 control and 3 inoculated). The photos were taken in a dark room at 0h, 12h, and 24h after bacterial inoculation.
