Description
This dataset supports the findings of the publication 'The time since land-use transition drives changes in fire activity in the Amazon-Cerrado region' by Ribeiro et al. 2024.
The dataset consists of time-lagged fractions of burned area associated with land-use transitions to model how fire activity changes with the evolution of land use in the Amazon-Cerrado agricultural frontier. To investigate the joint impact of land-use change and climate drivers, this dataset also includes annual values of vapor pressure deficit (VPD) and maximum cumulative water deficit (MCWD).
