The mental health prognosis of offspring born of genocidal rape is influenced by family members, the community and their perceptions toward them.

The dataset composed of the sociodemographic characteristics of the purposive sample of 16 mother-offspring dyads is publicly accessible.  However, the verbatim quotes from the respondents were not shared because this kind of data contains potentially sensitive information considering the context of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.
