Dataset for article "Denitrification, anammox and DNRA in oligotrophic continental shelf sediments"

Datasets comprise of (1) measurements of sediments collected from New Zealand continental shelf, including average rate of total oxygen uptake (TOU) and diffusive oxygen uptake (DOU) by the sediment, fluxes across sediment-water interface of nitrogen oxides (NOx-), ammonium (NH4+), and total insolved nitrogen (DIN), total N2 production , denitrification, anammox, contribution of anamoox to total N2 production (ra), issimilatory nitrate reduced to ammonium (DNRA), N2 production depending on the sediment nitrification (p14n), and the contribution of anammox to total N2 production (ra); and (2) metadata of denitrification, oxygen penetration depth (OPD), and bottom water NOx- concentrations from literature.
