Description
7. Phyllonorycter japonica (Kumata, 1963)
Lithocolletis japonica Kumata, 1963: 73–75. TL: Hokkaidō, Japan. TD: EIHU (Holotype).
Material examined. [JB] 1♀, Mt. Naejang, 14 v 2014 (leg. SY Park, JW Nam, IJ Choi & YM Shin), gen. slide no. HNUSEL- 5234 -coll. KNAE.
Distribution. Korea, Japan, Russia.
Host plants. Carpinus laxiflora, C. tschonoskii, Corylus heterophylla, Ostrya japonica [Betulaceae] in Japan (Kumata 1963a; De Prins & De Prins 2006 –2023). Corylus heterophylla, C. mandshurica [Betulaceae] in Russia (Ermolaev 1979; De Prins & De Prins 2006 –2023).
