The Aquarian Conspiracy as a means to introduce the New World Order

The chapter „The Aquarian Conspiracy as a means to introduce the New World Order”, by Olga Zamojska, is devoted to the issue of union between Masonic and Paramasonic organizations with the growing expansion tendencies of new religious movements, with particular reference to the syncretic New Age Movement. The aim of the chapter is to identify the links between the Aquarian Conspiracy (a conspiracy operating within the New Age Movement) and Masonic associations, which herald the forthcoming New World Order, with a single world government representing planetary consciousness and with total control over the world and its citizens. To this end, the author undertakes an analysis of the ideological sources and coryphaean views common to the New Age Movement and Freemasonry, considering in particular the Theosophical Society headed by Alice Bailey and the Anthroposophical Society founded by the freemason Rudolf Steiner. Analysis of the results on research on the New Age phenomenon and on issues related to Freemasonry contained in: New Age. Nowa religia? (1993) and Masoneria. Czyżby papierowy tygrys? (1994), by Arnaud de Lassus, or in New Age: filozofia, religia i paranauka (2002), by Adam Zamojski, points to indications that the Aquarian Conspiracy may be an association of a conspiratorial nature, implementing a plan to introduce a New World Order, originating from the very centre of Masonic ideas. In order to characterise the common ideological sources for the New Age Movement and Freemasonry and to detail the links between the plan to introduce a New World Order and the Aquarian Conspiracy, the author also refers in the chapter to extracts from an important text for the New Age Movement, The Aquarian Conspiracy. Personal and Social Transformation in the 1980s, by Marilyn Ferguson, a leading figure in the Conspiracy, and to the Masonic strategy of action, recorded in The permanent instruction of the Alta Vendita (1999) and others. The method of comparative analysis of numerous sources, makes it possible to identify indications of the conspiratorial nature of the cultural movement, as well as to detail doctrinal convergences between the Aquarian Conspiracy and Freemasonry, involving aspirations to implement a new religious-philosophical-political paradigm.
