RHODAS Kick-off meeting report

This report describes the RHODAS kick-off meeting, including the agenda, the 
participants, the meeting notes, the relevant parts of the presentations and the group 
pictures. The event was celebrated at UPC facilities (Edifici Vèrtex) in Barcelona (Spain) 
during May 19th and 20th. Representatives from each beneficiary entity attended the 
meeting physically, while online connection was enabled for those participating remotely.
The report also provides information on the governance structure agreed by the 
consortium to ensure successful implementation of the RHODaS project. This will be 
achieved by creating governing bodies charged with the responsibility for specific tasks 
which upon execution will seamlessly integrate with the directives of fellow governing 
bodies.
Integral to the success of an applied hierarchy of project governance are the defined 
channels for communication ensuring requisite information to the project partners as and 
when it is required. The bidirectional nature of the communication flow (bottom-up and 
top-down) will be realized through appropriate use of meetings, emails, videoconferences and teleconferences. Legal documents, if necessary, will be notarized.
