Description

Facade of the Tomb of Harkhuf in Qubbet el-Hawa (QH34n), Aswan Egypt. The facade contains the famous autobiography of Harkhuf where he talks about the four expeditions he led to Nubia for King Pepi II. The inscription to the right of the door includes the famous letter from the king requesting that Harkhuf bring to him the pygmy that he brought back from the land of Yam.
