Description

Genus Vorticella Linnaeus, 1767

Vorticella dimorpha Stiller, 1940

Report as epibiont on rotifers: The species was originally described as epibiont of Conchilus unicornis from Lake Holstein, Germany (Stiller 1940). In addition, the species was reported as epibiont on rotifer Conochilus sp. from Germany (Schödel 2018).

Vorticella sp. (in Balvay & Druart 1995)

Report as epibiont on rotifers: Found on mucus of rotifer Conochilus unicornis and Conochilus hippocrepis from Lake Geneva (Balvay & Druart 1995).
