Many people know the 3-2-1-0 backup rule. There is a bunch of useful tools to support the step from theory to "backup action". In this Coffee Lecture episode, we will take a look at a small selection of software that helps to ensure that backups are actually created and are at hand in case they should be needed.

The terms 'disaster recovery' and 'point-in-time recovery' are used in a rather pragmatic mannar for considerations about the features of a bunch of software tools for backing up data, including a slightly closer look at Nextcloud and Duplicati.
