Preliminary Report on Damage Caused in Mexico City by the September 19, Puebla-Morelos, Mw 7.1 Earthquake, Documented from October 14 to 17, 2017

This report documents reconnaissance activities in Mexico City from the afternoon of October 14 through the evening of October 17, documenting observations about (1) structural performance and (2) issues pertaining to preparation, response, and recovery. This report provides a preliminary report of those observations with brief interpretation and analysis.
