Description
Statue of Paris in the park of Schönbrunn Palace. The son of the Trojan king Priam is depicted as a shepherd with his dog. In his right hand he holds the apple of discord. Paris triggered the Trojan War by kidnapping Helen. The sculpture by Veit Königer dates from around 1775.
