A dataset to support dynamical modelling of the thermal dynamics of a super-insulated building

  • 1. Neogrid Technologies, AAU
  • 2. NTNU

Description

This work consisted of controlled heating experiments for the purpose of control-oriented dynamical modelling. The building studied is the LivingLab at NTNU, which is a super-insulated single-family house. The dataset contains full details of the measurements, as well as preprocessed (reduced) data which can be readily used as input for dynamical modelling investigations.

Notes

The authors would like to acknowledge helpful input and support from Eirik Selvnes, Stein Kristian Skånøy, Peng Liu, Martin Thalfeldt, Francesco Goia, Eugen Uthaug, and Arild Gustavsen from NTNU, Igor Sartori, Maria Justo-Alonso, and Einar Bergheim from SINTEF, Glenn Reynders from KU Leuven, and Peder Bacher from DTU Compute. Access to the LivingLab was provided and funded by the Research Centre on Zero Emission Buildings project (and its successor: the Research Centre on Zero Emission Neighbourhoods in Smart Cities), while Pierre's work was part of the ADVANTAGE project funded by the European Union's Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreement no. 607774.
