String-type small Instrument
Description
Peculiar string-type musical instrument purchased from an antique shop in Ayvalık, Asia Minor, in 1981. It is a homemade single construction, with a pumpkin-made arm and cap from animal skin. Head consisting of 21 (non-diatonic) frets and 4 double wire strings, while all four keys are wooden.
