Description

New panel of prehistoric rockart discovered as part of NOWTAG landscape survey of West Greyside, Northumberland in February 2020. Earthfast boulder of length 0.55m x width 0.50m x height 0.10m found in an improved pasture field near Grindon, carved with cojoined cups (4 or 5 on the south side partially smoothed into a linear groove, 3 oval depressions and 3 single cup-marks). Similarities to two rockart panels known from Howden Hill to the north-east. Card with north arrow is standard size of credit card (85.60 × 53.98 mm). Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
