Sweden's population registration system is among the most advanced and comprehensive in the world, with a history spanning several centuries. This system allows for the verification of all native age claims born in the past three centuries. By utilizing the population registration system and publicly available genealogy resources, 28 individuals of Nordic descent were authenticated as having reached the age of 110 or older in Sweden by 2022.
