Description

A jasper scraper from the archaeological collection curated at the Natural History Society of Maryland. This artifact was recovered during the archaeological investigation conducted in Cecil County, Maryland by Richard Stearns and the Natural History Society of Maryland in 1943. Scrapers were used to clean and soften hides as well as in working wood.
