Ashibusa lativalvula Zhang & Li, 2009: 340. TL: Hainan (China). TD: NKU.

Material examined. CHINA, Hainan: 4♂ 3♀, Jianfengling, Ledong County (18.44°N, 108.52°E), 770 m, 30. V –5. VI.2015, leg. PX Cong et al., slide Nos. ZD 21380 ♂, ZD21465 ♂, ZD21458 ♀, ZD21534 ♀; 2♀, Tianchi, Jianfengling (18.73°N, 108.86°E), 787 m, 14–15. VII.2015, leg. QY Wang et al., slide No. ZD 21519; 1♀, Mt. Diagnosis. Ashibusa lativalvula is diagnosed by the ochreous yellow forewings having a pale yellowish white band between basal 1/6 and 2/5 of the dorsum; in the male genitalia by the distal 1/3 of the valvae inflated rectangularly (Zhang & Li, 2009: 340); and in the female genitalia by the elliptical corpus bursae. This species is similar to A. similativalvula sp. nov. externally, and the differences between them are stated in the diagnosis of the latter species.

Female genitalia (Fig. 23). Apophyses posteriores twice as long as apophyses anteriores. Sterigma short and wide, irregularly shaped. Ductus bursae longer than apophyses posteriores, membranous. Corpus bursae elliptical, slightly shorter than ductus bursae; entrance at posterior 2/5 of corpus bursae; signum absent.

Distribution. China (Hainan).

Note. The female of this species is described for the first time.
