Astyanax nasutus Meek 1907. Managua Tetra; Sardina, Sardina Lagunera, Sardinilla, Sabalete, Sardinita, Plateada, Tetra, Sardina del Lago Managua

Vouchers: FMNH 5908 (14), 5909 (1) and 5910 (1). Distribution: Central America; endemic to the Lago Xolotlán (Managua), Nicaragua; (Nicaragua) LN (Atlantic); 30–31 masl; Pri, Pot. Occurrence and conservation status: Nat, End; DD (2020), population trend unknown.
