Description

Radio galaxies are the most massive and luminous galaxies at any epoch (Miley & De Breuck 2008). They are located at the bottom of a huge potential well and hence often located at the centre of protoclusters. This  makes them ideal targets to study accretion of gas from the circumgalactic medium (CGM), as well as its enrichment by mechanical and radiative AGN feedback.
