A conical socket runs the length of the blade and contains two opposing circular peg-holes. Both blade edges have areas missing creating jagged edges which are not sharp. These include the Dowris Hoard which gives its name to the last phase of the Irish Bronze Age - the Dowris Phase (900-600BC).
