The subject of the study is information support of the organizational and managerial process.
The purpose of writing the article is to consider the place and role of establishing information
services for the organizational and managerial process in order to increase the competitiveness of
subjects of economy.
Methodology for the study are works on the factors of competitiveness, socio–economic
efficiency, organizational and managerial relations and information channels. And the information base
of the research consists of regulations, domestic and foreign publications, research on the content of
international economic relations, the direction and nature of megatrends in world development, the role
of transition periods, the ratio of strategy and tactics in making organizational and managerial decisions.
Results of the work – a study was made of the range of effectiveness of management information
support in the context of increasing the level of competitiveness of a business entity.
Conclusions. An indispensable attribute of the basis of competitiveness is organizational and
managerial efficiency, and its prerequisite is information support. The ability to see probable problems
«in advance» and determine the most productive ways to prevent it (localize, overcome) is the result
of talent, knowledge, and experience. The need to rely both on the optimization of one's own team
and on external command and individual connections (competitive / adversarial and partnership/
cooperative) is localized in the managerial contours of self–government and coordination. Accordingly,
information training and methodological literacy of business participants are necessary prerequisites
for successful security and development.
