Description

This is part of the archive for the paper on JGR:

Dynamic rupture simulations of caldera collapse earthquakes: Effects of wave radiation, magma viscosity, and evidence of complex nucleation at Kilauea 2018

This item contains 3 files:

  1. benchmark_asp0.5.zip: input files for benchmark case simulations with magma modeled as acoustic material
  2. benchmark_silicic.zip:   input files for benchmark case simulations with magma modeled as (approximately) viscoelastic material.
  3. Kilauea.zip: input files for benchmark case simulations with magma modeled as acoustic material, and crust modeled as 1D elastic structure with minor attenuation.

For running simulations with attenuation, SeisSol is compiled with 3 Generalized Maxwell Bodies.
