Description

  • improved the downsampling method of output variables of the Network.run method - now, an average over all simulated samples is calculated for the downsampling
  • updated documentation and use examples to account for the recent changes to the Network.add_diffeq_node and Network.run methods
  • updated pytests to account for new downsampling method
  • added possibility to implement adaptive edges (i.e. synaptic plasticity). The Network.add_diffeq_node now accepts pyrates.EdgeTemplates instances via the keyword argument edge_template.
  • dropped support for Python 3.7, added support for Python 3.11 and 3.12
