Innovations in the Dutch Data Landscape: from Knowledge Graphs to Large Language Models
Description
Opening Address for the Twenty-Fifth International Conference on Grey Literature 'Confronting Climate Change with Trusted Grey Resources'. The Dutch Data Landscape is getting very complex due to the emerging needs of the various scientific organizations and universities collecting and sharing data, and DANS-KNAW, the institute of the Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, providing services to store data in FAIR way according to the up-to-date standards for data sharing. DANS is working closely with IQSS, Harvard University on the implementation of specific requirements coming from scientific communities, and contributing new functionality to the Dataverse data repository available as Open Source project for all interested parties. The latest advances include building the global knowledge graph and integration of the technology with Large Language Models (LLMs).
