Description
The presented article is a continuation of the cycle of scientific works on fishing tourism and fishing, conceived at the Timiryazev Academy. An analysis of both Russian and foreign literature on the topic of the study identified a gap was that needs to be filled. The study is aimed at research fishing tourism in the legacy of Soviet cinema. The authors cite the genres of films that cover fishing tourism - comedies, dramas, historical films. Soviet cinema raised the topics connected with fishing: the fight against poaching and the ecological state of reservoirs. It has been proven that technology of product placement was not used in Soviet cinema. Technical and plot errors in films (bloopers) are revealed. The main scientific result: the authors classify films covering the topic of fishing tourism and distinguish them in three categories: films in which fishing tourism is the basis of the plot; films in which fishing tourism is an additional or parallel storyline; films in which fishing is one of the episodes that do not affect the plot. It is concluded that, despite their relative scarcity, Soviet films about fishing tourism have done a lot to promote such an important activity for the health of citizens as recreational fishing. There was a synergistic effect: scenes with fishing increased the ratings of films, and the movie characters of the popular film promoted fishing tourism, involving more and more citizens in this activity.
