A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF LANGUAGE STRUCTURES IN UZBEK AND ENGLISH: A CROSS-LINGUISTIC STUDY
Authors/Creators
Description
This thesis explores the linguistic structures and features of two distinct languages, Uzbek and English, with a focus on their phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, and lexicon (Yeni-Komshian, Kavanagh, and Ferguson, 1980). Through a systematic comparative analysis, it aims to elucidate the similarities and differences between these languages, shedding light on the diverse ways in which languages function and are structured. By examining these linguistic aspects, this study not only enhances our understanding of these languages individually but also contributes to the broader field of linguistic typology (Aikhenvald, 2007).
