Description
This article aims to analyze the electroencephalogram signals of 21 comatose patients, investigating the key differences between two different periods: the initial 3-minute period of silence, and another involving music stimulation, after 17 minutes of continuous stimulation. Subsequently, the median was calculated forsignals tied to these two periods, along with their power percentage variations, which was followed by statistical analysis. In general, results depict that the EEGs tied to these two periods do not change too much, wherein significant changements are higher for gamma and teta waves, including also parietal electrodes.
