EVALUATION OF ANTI-OBESITY EFFECT OF SUGOLESS, A NEW POLYHERBAL FORMULATION IN PROGESTERONE INDUCED OBESITY IN MICE

Sugoless is a natural formulation used for its anti-diabetic properties. It is an herbal medicine for the control of blood sugar.The aim of the study is―Evaluation of Anti-obesity Effect of Sugoless, A New Polyherbal Formulation in Progesterone Induced Obesity in Mice''.The extracts were prepared by maceration method. Anti-obesity activity was evaluated by different parameters like Food intake, Bodyweight, organ weight & relative organ weight, Exploratory behavior, Biochemical estimations & Histopathological examinations. After performing the experiment, it has been concluded that the sugoless formulation has anti-obesity properties, sugoless formulation of 1480 mg/kg showed better activity than 740 mg/kg and 370 mg/kg (p <0.05).
