Teach to Reach 9: Shared experiences

Sample description

Sample:  17 662 registrants (of which 9691 anglophones and 7971 francophones) for Teach to Reach 9 were invited to share their experiences of immunization through an online questionnaire in September/October 2023.

Content: The following responses were received by thematic area as of 10th October 2023. For each theme, experiences are presented by country, and then in the order in which they were received.

Themes and questions

1. Do you believe that climate change is a threat to the health of the community you serve?
2. Have you been part of any changes with respect to prevention, diagnosis or treatment of Female Genital Schistosomiasis (FGS)?
3. Describe something specific you learned or expect to learn at Teach to Reach.
4. UNICEF invites you to share your experience in identifying and reaching zero-dose children and underimmunized communities. Do you have a success story, lesson learned, or challenge that you want to share?
5. What have you done to advocate for immunization in urban settings to be better prioritized? 
6. Are there specific cultural or religious practices, beliefs, or social norms that impact demand for immunization in communities that you are trying to reach?
7. Describe your experience of a measles outbreak, measles vaccine wastage, improving second measles dose coverage and integrated health campaigns including measles vacccination.
8. Share a success story, a lesson learned or a challenge about HPV vaccination. 
9. Share a lesson learned, a success story, or a challenge that matters in your daily work to improve the health of the community you serve.
