Description
Fairy tales are a common heritage of European citizens and a great educational tool for teachers. Our project is based on the European Fairy Tale Route, which became a Cultural Route of the Council of Europe in 2022. It is a unique cultural route for both children and adults. Ollie, our mascot, was born in a library. She grew up on all kinds of stories and fairy tales. One day she decided to travel all over Europe to investigate all the magical places she read about in the stories. These stories are part of the local culture of Europeans. A journey full of activities, new technologies will begin. During this trip she assigned us some missions related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. With Ollie we discovered authors, characters and places through many activities, took part in STEAM activities and created a lot of collaborative producs. During this journey, Europeana website was utilized.
