Аннотация. Автор исследует разностороннюю деятельность светлейшего князя Г.А. Потемкина-Таврического в эпоху Промышленной революции по инициированию открытия новых производств как основы будущих направлений промышленности России.

Abstract. The author investigates the deeds of the Serene Highness Potemkin in the epoch of the Industrial Revolution, which made possible the emergence of cutting edge factories that laid the foundation for future industrial trends in Russian Empire.
