Modeling Ziegler-Natta catalyzed LLDPE with FOV technique

Authors/Creators

Description

The present work is based on the capacity of modeling experimental data of LLDPE with Ziegler – Natta catalysts with standard FOV fluid in 1D. The purpose of the work is to check about the behavior of LLDPE under flow (were performed static experiments and SAOS experiments). It is seen good adjustments results for G(t), J(t) and dynamic oscillatory experiments. Also, results obey to thermodynamic restrictions imposed by standard FOV fluid in 1D. Throughout this work is possible to compare with a previous work in this area and observe that the capacity of modeling metallocene catalyzed Polyethylene can be extrapolated to LLDPE Ziegler-Natta catalyzed and thus have a model that can be applied to 1 more catalyst. It is expected that this model with 3 parameters can be applied on further investigations with advantages to differential viscoelastic models and integral viscoelastic models.
