Description
This dataset contains maps of rubber plantations in 2021, and maps of rubber-related deforestation between 1993-2016 for Southeast Asia. The rubber maps have a 10 m pixel size, and the deforestation maps have a 30 m pixel size. The dataset and the methods for generating it are described in Wang et al. 2023. High-resolution maps show that rubber causes substantial deforestation. Nature. Please note that an update of this dataset will follow in November 2024.
