Wschodnia prowincja magdalenienu

The Magdalenian settlement in the eastern part of Central Europe has many features
of a periphery. Thus, the areas discussed herein can and should be considered to constitute
the eastern Magdalenian province. Concurrently, the culture observed in these areas
is strongly rooted in the culture spreading over entire Europe. The adherence to patterns
and lasting tradition, despite a large distance between the eastern borderlands of the
Magdalenian and its centre is striking.
