Description

In 2021, the ZKI Strategy and Organization Working Group conducted an initial survey on software solutions at universities . Due to strong demand and a lot of feedback on the usefulness of the results, the survey was repeated in 2022 in an expanded form. The survey collects which concrete software solutions for the respective application areas (categories) are used at the universities and how satisfied the users are with the solution, which operating models were selected, which license models the software solutions have and whether a replacement by another software is planned. The naming of several parallel solutions for a category was facilitated and additionally extended by the specification, by which solutions if necessary is to be replaced. In addition, there were responses from institutions in Austria, Switzerland and Germany in 2022. From Germany, universities from all federal states participated.
